Consultation
Overview
Consultation is an important component of the Environmental Assessment (EA) process and will be ongoing throughout the study. The consultation process facilitates two-way communication between the Project Team and interested stakeholders to present key project information, obtain information about the study area, and gather feedback to support and enhance planning and design decisions.
The Project Team encourages interested stakeholders to provide comments at any time during the study. To provide comments please contact the Project Team through one of the methods on the Contact page. All comments received, with the exception of personal information, will become part of the public record and may be included in project documentation.
Project Notices
Stakeholders will be notified about this study at key project milestones, including Notice of Study Commencement and the Notice of Completion (filing of the Transportation Environmental Study Report).
Project notices will be sent directly to regulatory agencies, local municipalities, Indigenous communities, potentially interested stakeholders and organizations, and members of the public on the project contact list. Notices will also be published in the Exeter Lakeshore Times Advance and posted on this website. To be added to the project contact list please contact the Project Team through one of the methods on the Contact page.

Online Public Information Centre
Public Information Centres (PICs) provide the project team with an opportunity to share information and seek feedback regarding the project. The purpose of this PIC is to present the overview of the project, the transportation needs and opportunities, existing conditions, stakeholder feedback received, evaluation of alternative methods, preferred alternative, the recommended plan, and potential impacts and mitigation measures and next steps.
An Online Public Information Centre (PIC) was held from March 18, 2026 to April 8, 2026, during which interested persons were invited to review the materials and provide comments for consideration as the study progresses. The PIC comment period is now closed. The PIC presentation can still be reviewed at the link below.
